Lakewood Long Range Planning Periodic Review, Public Comment

Lakewood, WA is conducting an update of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations known as the Growth Management Act (GMA) Periodic Review.  Public involvement is essential to the success of this effort. New buffer requirements for lakes and streams are being discussed as part of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Review.  As a result, the Planning Commission has kept the public hearing for the review open until June 26, 2024. Public comments can be submitted in writing to kdevereaux@cityoflakewood.us, live during the hearing in person, or live remotely via ZOOM.
